Modern Precast Concrete invited customers, engineers, vendors and friends to share in the marvels of the precast concrete industry during the Open House of our newest, most technically advanced facility in North America. The celebration started at 10:00 a.m. and continued till 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14 at our Easton location.

Events at the Open House included tours of our 91,000 square foot facility. With over 200 attendees, we assembled sixteen walking tours through the plant by the end of the day. Modern’s expert tour guides explained demonstrations of our state-of-the-art equipment - the Schlusselbauer Exact 2500 automated pipe production system, the Zublin cage welding machine for reinforced concrete pipe and much more.

Our Buildings, Construction Supplies, Environmental & Wastewater and Site & Highway divisions set-up displays of their product lines. Sales representatives from each division were available to answer questions, provide information and mingle with guests. In addition, we had demonstrations and exhibits by twenty-three suppliers within the concrete industry.

Cookies, pretzels, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream sundaes, gifts and door prizes were just some of the other treats that we had to offer. It was truly a funfilled day.
