The Hazardous Materials storage building is a specialty building within the Easi-Set brand offered by Modern. They, too, are transportable precast concrete buildings which feature a wide range of benefits. These buildings are weather-tight, secure, and maintenance-free. They offer the advantages of quick installation, no required footing, and a full spectrum of available sizes and finishes. In addition Haz-Mat buildings offer many options including fire rated doors, interior climate controls, special corrosion resistant epoxy coatings, alarm systems and much more.

• Standard building sizes: 10' x 12' x 8' 8“ and 12' x 20' x 8' 8“ with storage capacities of 20 and 45 drums, respectively
• Maximum protection: 4” thick steel-reinforced, post-tensioned roof and floor slabs
• Crack and water penetration resistance: post-tensioned roof and floor slabs
• Easy access: double steel entry doors
• Greater containment capabilities: secondary spill containment sump holds more than 33% of drum storage capacity (more than three times the minimum EPA required sump capacity specified in 40 CFR Par. 264.175-3)
• Safe: galvanized steel or fiberglass grating to elevate containers from floor surface (corrosion resistant fiberglass provides 250 psf loading, skid-resistance and spark resistance)
